About PCBO

The Pakistan Canada Business Organization is a federal not-for-profit, non-religious and non-political organization. Its members come from Pakistan and diverse countries, representing multiple backgrounds across Greater Hamilton, Southern Ontario and beyond.

Preserve and celebrate the Pakistani community’s cultural heritage, and promote its contributions to Greater Hamilton and Southern Ontario.

Give Pakistani businesses and entrepreneurs the support and resources to integrate into the local economy.

Work with government, private organizations and the volunteer sector on joint initiatives, business opportunities and socio-economic development.

What PCBO does

  • Builds business and social networks through social media, advertising and community events.
  • Provides business advisory services and feasibility studies through its Business Advisory Council, and encourages joint business and investment ventures among Canadian and foreign businesses.
  • Runs the Digital Business Directory of community businesses in Canada, Pakistan, Dubai and beyond.
  • Helps newcomers settle through its Settlement & Integration Services committee, in English, Urdu and Punjabi.
  • Holds business seminars, and works with local Chambers of Commerce and the City of Hamilton.
  • Works with the Consulate General of Pakistan in Toronto.
  • Celebrates Pakistan Day, Independence Day, Canada Day and Women’s Day with the community. See events.
  • Supports charity work locally and abroad, on its own and with other organizations.
  • Is working toward the first Pakistan Business & Community Centre in Ontario.
